Activeness Overview


Storyboarding is a bully way to focus on the diverse types of literary conflicts. Have students choose some examples of literary conflict, and depict them using the Storyboard Creator!

Homo vs. Cocky: Boxer vs. Himself

Boxer worries about the farm, and blames himself. When Napoleon starts killing other animals, he says, "I would not take believed that such things could happen on our subcontract. It must be due to some error in ourselves."


MAN vs. SOCIETY: The Animals vs. Humans

Erstwhile Major begins the ideology of "Lust", which goes confronting the current way of life.


Homo vs. MAN: Napoleon vs. Snowball

These two pigs accept it out for each other. As Napoleon becomes a tyrannical dictator, Snowball struggles to find order. Napoleon eventually uses beast strength to run Snowball off the farm.



Student Instructions

Create a storyboard that shows at least three forms of literary disharmonize in Animal Farm.


  1. Place conflicts in Animate being Subcontract.
  2. Categorize each conflict every bit Character vs. Character, Graphic symbol vs. Self, Character vs. Society, Character vs. Nature, or Character vs. Engineering.
  3. Illustrate conflicts in the cells, using characters from the story.
  4. Write a short description of the conflict below the prison cell.
